Programs like Ableton Live, Traktor, and Scratch Live make it easier to DJ with your computer.  These programs allow you to use your keyboard as a back up controller.  If for some reason your cd player stop working or your controller goes on the blink.  These programs allow you to control your music straight from your keyboard.  Pitch bend and looping are just a key stroke away.
